I am a lecturer and senior researcher at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) Munich working in the area of parallel and high performance computing. My research focuses on performance tools but I'm interested in all aspects parallel programming, algorithms, and systems.

Before joining LMU Munich I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California at Berkeley, affiliated with the Berkeley's ParLab and the NERSC supercomputing center and prior to that I was a senior research associate at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (UTK).
